According to preliminary data from sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the structure of households in the Fergana region by the number of children is:
75.4% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 26.0% have one child, 26.6% have two children, 17.4% have three children and 5.4% have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 24.6% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
