According to preliminary data from sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the structure of households in the Khorezm region by the number of children is:
79.4 % of households have children under the age of 16, of which 22.7 % have one child, 29.8 % have two children, 20.6 % have three children and 6.3 % have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 20.6 % of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
