On November 1 of this year, a seminar was organized in the State Committee on Statistics dedicated to the participation of the committee's representative in the 3rd United Nations World Data Forum, which was held from October 3-6 in Bern, Switzerland.
At this seminar, the head of the Department of monitoring and coordination of the open data portal of the Committee A.Sultanov informed that the following knowledge was obtained at the 3rd World Data Forum:
- assistance in the formation of the market of applications and services functioning in the form of open data in the world information network Internet;
- budget savings in the development of socially useful services;
- expanding opportunities for information exchange between government agencies;
- Creation of an information base for the implementation of the "Open Government" concept;
- development of civil society through the possibility of monitoring and monitoring the activities of state bodies;
- Improving the activities of the open data portal of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
