In January-September 2021, 22.8 thousand tons of cocoons were produced in the republic, this figure for the corresponding period of 2020 amounted to 108.8%.
The largest volume of cocoon production was recorded in farms - 14.0 thousand tons, or 61.6% of the total volume of their production.
In the current period, compared to the same period last year, growth was noted in farms - by 3.5% and organizations engaged in agricultural activities - by 18.4%.
