According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of industrial production in Uzbekistan in January-August 2026 amounted to 926.5 trillion soums.
This figure increased by 8 % compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
In the structure of industrial production, the largest share falls on the manufacturing industry - 805.7 trillion soums, or 87 percent.
Industrial production volume by sections:
- manufacturing industry - 805.7 trillion soums (87 percent);
- Electricity, gas, steam supply and air conditioning - 58.2 trillion soums (6.3 percent);
- Mining and quarrying - 57.8 trillion soums (6.2 percent);
- water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal - 4.8 trillion soums (0.5 percent).
