According to the National Statistics Committee, the volume of Uzbekistan's imports in January-August 2026 amounted to $34.5 billion.
Main directions in the import structure:
machinery and transport equipment - 11.3 billion US dollars;
industrial goods - 5.1 billion US dollars;
services - $4.6 billion;
chemical agents and similar products - 4.2 billion US dollars;
food products and live animals - 3.7 billion US dollars;
mineral fuel, lubricants, and similar materials - 2.8 billion US dollars;
various finished products - 1.2 billion US dollars;
non-food raw materials other than fuel - 1.1 billion US dollars.
The share of machinery and transport equipment in total imports amounted to 32.6 percent.
