As of October 1, 2021, in all categories of farms in the Kashkadarya region, the total number of cattle amounted to 1,641.8 thousand heads (104.6% in relation to 1 October 2020), of which cows - 539.4 thousand heads (104.5%), sheep and goats - 4,753.3 thousand heads (103.7%), horses - 33.9 thousand heads (105.1%) and birds - 6 450.7 thousand heads (104.8%).
