In January-September 2022, a total of 54.9 million tons of main types of cargo were sent by mainline railway transport across the Republic of Uzbekistan, and, compared to the corresponding period last year, the volume of cargo sent increased by 2.7%.
In January-September 2022, potatoes, vegetables and fruits showed the highest growth rates by type of cargo sent by public rail transport compared to the same period in 2021.
