The volume of transit cargo transported (by road and rail) through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-September 2022 amounted to 5,452.2 thousand tons. 5,277.4 thousand tons were transported by rail (in relation to the total volume of cargo 96.8%), by road - 174.8 thousand tons (3.2%).
In January-September 2022, the number of wagons that crossed the territory of the country amounted to 92,231 units, while the number of road transport reached 11,296 units.
