In January-September 2022, the number of new passenger cars registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 222,794 units, of which 94.4% (210,419 units) were produced in Uzbekistan, 5.6% (12,375 units) were produced in other foreign countries.
The largest share of new cars registered by the state falls on the city of Tashkent (30.1% of the total, or 67,161 units).
