On December 6-7 this year in Krakow, Poland, a seminar on statistical evaluation was held for employees of statistical departments of countries in Europe, East and Central Asia.

The event was organized by Eurostat in cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

It was attended by representatives of the statistical departments of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as international experts from EUROSTAT, UNECE and EFTA.

From the State Committee on Statistics, the seminar was attended by the Head of the Department for the Organization and Methodology of Statistical Works Zakirov Dilshod Tairovich and the Deputy Head of the Personnel Department Turaev Farhod Samadovich.

The main purpose of the workshop was to share experience on statistical assessments carried out in the participating countries with the support of international organizations, as well as to share plans for the future.
