On December 14, 2022, the State Committee on Statistics organized a round table at the Tashkent State Technical University by Islam Karimov.
The event was attended by employees of the central office of the State Committee on Statistics, faculty, researchers and masters of the Tashkent State Technical University.
At the event, the head of the Department of Industrial Statistics of the State Committee on Statistics Juraev Sardor Botirovich spoke about the work carried out in recent years in the field of industrial statistics.
After that, a presentation was held on the topic: "Formation and analysis of industrial statistics".
The presentation provides information on the main indicators of the industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, industrial output per capita, the main sectors of industrial production.
Also, answers are provided in detail to questions of interest to students on the organization and conduct of census processes, macroeconomic indicators and national accounts, business environment monitoring, entrepreneurship development, investment and construction, foreign economic activity and trade, agriculture and ecology, price statistics.
As a result of the round table, an agreement was reached to hold such events on a regular basis, as well as to organize practical classes for students. The issue of signing a memorandum with the university was also considered.
The specialists of the State Committee on Statistics answered in detail all the questions asked by the participants of the round table.
