According to preliminary data, in January-September 2023, 91.2 thousand tons of fish were caught in the republic.
This figure increased by 10.5 % compared to 2022.
A significant share of the total volume of fish caught belongs to the Khorezm region (15.4 %).
At the same time, high rates of fish caught were noted in Tashkent (11.1 %), Jizzakh (10.1 %) and Andijan (9.8 %) regions.
