According to preliminary data, in January-September 2023, only 8,136.2 thousand tons of vegetables were grown in the republic.
This figure increased by 1.5 % compared to 2022.
The largest share in the total volume of vegetable cultivation occurs in the Andijan region (15.9 %).
Also, high rates were recorded in Samarkand (11.3 %), Surkhandarya (10.9 %) and Fergana (10.3 %) regions.
