In the months of January-June 2024, 36.1 million tons of main types of cargo were transported across Uzbekistan through main railway transport in general use.
Freight transported by rail has a high share in the total volume:
various ores – 12.7%;
oil cargo – 9.3%;
coal – 8.2%;
construction loads – 5.9%;
chemical and mineral fertilizers – 5.3%;
other loads – 52.6%.
