In order to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks outlined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 4, 2019 No. UP-5887 and the minutes of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 16, 2024 No. 40 on the preparation and high-level conduct of the football competition for the Government Cup of the Republic of Uzbekistan among employees of the central office of ministries, higher republican organizations, enterprises and government agencies, on November 3-9, 2024, the traditional "Government Cup-2024" football competition will be held on the training grounds of the "Bunyodkor" Academy in Tashkent.
In this competition, the team consisting of the employees of the central office of the Statistics Agency won the first place in the preliminary group stage, defeating the rival teams in the 1/8 semi-finals and 1/4 rounds, and went to the 1/2 semi-finals.
The final stage of the "Government Cup-2024" football competition and the ceremony of awarding winners and prize-winners will be held on November 9 at the "JAR" sports rehabilitation complex.
It should be noted that 34 football teams from ministries, committees, agencies and various organizations participated in this competition.
