On February 7 of the current year, an event was held at the Statistics Agency aimed at improving the legal literacy of its employees and explaining the essence of the adopted normative legal acts. Employees of the central office of the Statistics Agency participated in the event.
The event was opened by the leading legal advisor of the Legal Department of the Statistics Agency, Orifjon Soliev, who spoke about the reforms being carried out in the country in January and early February of the current year.
In addition, employees were provided with explanations on the goals and objectives of the normative legal acts adopted during this period.
Among them, the content and tasks of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 27, 2025, No. UP-11 “On measures to further develop the housing construction sector and improve mechanisms for regulating the construction of residential and non-residential objects based on shared participation” were thoroughly covered, as well as the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 28, 2025, No. UP-13 “On additional measures for the accelerated development of the pharmaceutical industry.”
Furthermore, employees were provided with explanations on the legal foundations of activities related to the provision of statistical data based on appeals from individuals and legal entities, including the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 11, 2021, No. ZRU-707 "On Official Statistics," as well as the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 20, 2023, No. 612 "On measures for the systematization of normative legal acts regulating the provision of state services."
At the end of the event, participants were given detailed explanations on all the questions of interest.
