According to the National Statistics Committee, as of September 1, 2025, there were 16,946 enterprises with foreign investment operating in the country. Of these, 4,144 were joint ventures and 12,802 were foreign enterprises.
Their distribution by types of economic activity is as follows:
− trade – 6,053;
− industry – 3,538;
− construction – 1,282;
− information and communication – 1,239;
− accommodation and food services – 714;
− transportation and storage – 553;
− agriculture, forestry, and fisheries – 430;
− healthcare and social services – 203;
− other sectors – 2,934.
