According to the National Statistics Committee, in January–August 2025 the retail trade turnover amounted to 276.8 trillion soums.
This figure increased by 10.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
As of September 1 of the current year, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail trade sector reached 86,190.
Top 3 regions in terms of retail trade turnover growth:
Tashkent city – 13.3%;
Namangan region – 11.8%;
Navoi region – 9.8%.
