On September 24 of this year, the National Statistics Committee launched training and practical sessions for regional statistical office staff responsible for conducting the Population and Agricultural Census.

Within the framework of this training program, regional officials are introduced to the organizational and legal foundations as well as the practical stages of the census. The sessions cover not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience. In particular, as a pilot exercise, visits are being made to households in the capital’s districts, where participants are shown how to complete census questionnaires and record data electronically.

These practical sessions are of great importance for improving the qualifications of regional officials and provide them with the opportunity to organize the census process at a high level. In this way, the effectiveness and quality of the forthcoming nationwide Population and Agricultural Census are expected to be ensured.
