In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF–173 “On Conducting the Population and Agricultural Census,” the nationwide event “Population and Agricultural Census” is scheduled to take place from January 15 to February 28, 2026.
To ensure thorough preparation for this important event, the Department of Statistics of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, together with district and city statistics offices, is organizing training seminars for instructors who will train census enumerators in the field.
During these seminars, participants are provided with detailed explanations of the essence and significance of the Presidential Decree, the stages of the census, and its importance. In addition, they receive information on the information systems used during the census, the procedure for completing electronic questionnaires, and other important topics.
Such training seminars contribute to the effective organization of this important national event — the population and agricultural census — and ensure its implementation in line with international standards.
