According to the National Statistics Committee, at the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year, the number of students studying in higher educational institutions operating in the Republic of Uzbekistan was 1,432,810.
During this period, the total number of higher educational institutions operating in the republic (including branches) was 222, and the number of foreign universities was 30.

Full-time form of education - 707,287 people
Evening form of education - 52,099 people
Correspondence form of education - 673,424 people
