From 10 to 12 December 2025, an international conference dedicated to issues of the System of National Accounts commenced in Tashkent. The event is organized in cooperation with the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the participation of experts from the national statistical offices of the CIS countries.

The conference brings together representatives of the statistical agencies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as experts from the CIS Executive Committee. The event program includes presentations on the current state of the SNA, improvements to calculation methodologies, preparations for the implementation of SNA–2025, PPP calculations, and GDP disaggregation. Discussions also cover subnational indicators, structural calculations, the assessment of the informal economy, and the integration of international standards.

National and international experts are delivering presentations in both online and offline formats. Representatives of the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan are providing information on preparations for the implementation of SNA–2025, the enhancement of analytical infrastructure, and the introduction of digital technologies into statistical calculations. The conference aims to strengthen statistical cooperation among CIS member states and support the modernization of the system of national accounts in accordance with international standards.
