According to the National Statistics Committee, the socio-economic situation of the Jizzakh region in 2025 in figures (compared to last year):
permanent population - 1,566,885 people (as of january 1)
the volume of gross regional product increased by 8.2 %;
the volume of industrial production increased by 14.3 %;
the volume of construction work increased by 20.4 %;
retail trade turnover grew by 8.6 %;
The volume of market services grew by 14.7 %;
the volume of foreign trade turnover decreased by 6.6 %;
export volume increased by 27.1 %;
import volume decreased by 10.6 %;
agriculture, forestry and fisheries grew by 4.4 %;
real aggregate incomes of the population increased by 7 %;
investments in fixed assets increased by 10.5 %.
As of January 1, 2026, 25,745 enterprises and organizations are operating.
