According to the National Statistics Committee, in January 2026, a total of 964 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to the USA for tourism purposes.
This indicator decreased by almost 16 percent compared to last year.
At the beginning of this year, 796 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to the USA for travel purposes, 135 for visiting relatives, 25 for study, 6 for official purposes, and 2 for medical treatment.
Also, during this period, 1,642 US citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
The number of tourists increased by 39.4 % compared to the previous year.
Among the purposes of their trip, travel prevailed and amounted to 1120 people. Also, 269 visits were recorded for official purposes, 112 for studies, 133 for visiting relatives, 6 for commercial purposes, and 2 for medical treatment.
