According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 6,925 Japanese citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January-March 2026.
This figure increased by almost 3 thousand people or 1.7 times compared to the corresponding period last year.
The number of Japanese citizens who visited Uzbekistan during this period by purpose of travel is as follows:
tourism - 6,356 people
visiting relatives - 270 people
for official purposes - 253 people
training - 45 people
treatment - 1 person
