According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-March 2026, the gross value added of the non-observed economy in Uzbekistan amounted to 102.7 trillion soums.
Its share in the gross domestic product was 22.9%.
The structure of the unobserved economy is as follows:
Activities of households and individuals - 69.1 trillion soums,
Share in GDP is 15.4%;
Shadow economy - 33.6 trillion soums,
Its share in GDP is 7.5%.
In the structure of activities of households and individuals by type of activity, as well as the volume of the shadow economy, the share of agriculture, forestry and fisheries amounted to 81.1%, services - 24.5%, construction - 23.9%, industry - 6.7%.
