According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s retail trade turnover amounted to nearly 165.9 trillion soums in January–April 2026.
This indicator increased by 22.9 % compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
As of May 1, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail trade sector reached 101,182.
During the same period, wholesale trade turnover totaled 155.9 trillion soums, marking a 12.7 % increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
As of May 1, there were 57,301 commercial enterprises operating in the wholesale trade sector across the country.
