According to the National Statistics Committee, as of May 1, 2026, there are 14,732 enterprises and organizations operating in the healthcare and social services sector in Uzbekistan.
Their number increased by almost 2.4 thousand compared to the corresponding period last year.
The number of enterprises and organizations operating in the healthcare and social services sector by region is as follows:
Tashkent city - 2,439;
Fergana region - 1,590 units;
Samarkand region - 1,546 units;
Andijan region - 1,264;
Tashkent region - 1,132;
Kashkadarya region - 1,107;
Bukhara region - 1,028 units;
Namangan region - 989;
Khorezm region - 840;
Surkhandarya region - 751;
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 727;
Navoi region - 533;
Jizzakh region - 463;
Syrdarya region - 323.
