According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-April 2026, Uzbekistan exported 26.2 thousand tons of onions worth 5.8 million US dollars to 11 foreign countries.
The volume of exports decreased by 18.4 thousand tons or 41.2% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Countries to which Uzbekistan supplied the most onions during this period:
Turkmenistan - 8.7 thousand tons;
Russia - 8.4 thousand tons;
Iraq - 5.3 thousand tons;
Iran - 2.2 thousand tons;
Kyrgyz Republic - 1.4 thousand tons;
Other countries - 260.4 tons.
