According to the National Statistics Committee, as of April 1, 2026, 4,903.1 thousand motor vehicles belonging to individuals were registered in Uzbekistan.
The majority of them are passenger cars (a share of 92.8% of the total). Compared to the corresponding period in 2025, the number of cars increased by 344.6 thousand.
Motor vehicles belonging to individuals are distributed by type as follows:
- passenger cars - 4,552.3 thousand units;
- trucks - 330.3 thousand units;
- minibuses - 7.5 thousand units;
- special vehicles - 7.2 thousand units;
- buses - 5.8 thousand units.
