According to the National Statistics Committee, construction work worth 26.7 trillion soums was completed by the informal sector in January–May 2026.
This figure increased by 14.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
The distribution of construction work volumes by type of enterprise is as follows:
small enterprises and micro-firms - 50.8 trillion soums (48.5%);
large construction organizations - 27.4 trillion soums (26.1%);
informal sector - 26.7 trillion soums (25.4%).
