According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan's retail trade turnover in January–June 2026 amounted to 251.8 trillion soums.
This figure increased by 20.2% compared to the corresponding period last year.
As of July 1, the number of commercial enterprises operating in the retail trade sector amounted to 89,861.
During this period, wholesale trade turnover amounted to 283.3 trillion soums, an increase of 16.5 percent compared to the corresponding period last year.
As of July 1, there are 56,363 commercial enterprises operating in the wholesale trade sector in the republic.
