According to the National Statistics Committee, the gross value added of the non-observed economy in Uzbekistan amounted to UZS 245.5 trillion in January–June 2026.
Its share in gross domestic product was 22.9%.
The non-observed economy consisted of:
activities of households and individuals — UZS 165.5 trillion, accounting for 15.4% of GDP;
the hidden economy — UZS 80 trillion, accounting for 7.5% of GDP.
The share of the non-observed economy in the gross value added of the respective economic activities was:
agriculture, forestry and fishing — 60.5%;
services — 23%;
construction — 17.8%;
industry — 6.7%.
