The regional workshop dedicated to improving statistics and data for effective, inclusive and transparent climate action, organized jointly by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the National Statistics Committee, is ongoing.
During the sessions held at the National Statistics Committee on 24 September, participants discussed the transformation and modernization processes being implemented by the Committee, the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics for 2026–2030, coordination of climate change-related statistics, greenhouse gas inventories, and energy statistics.
International experts and specialists of the National Statistics Committee also exchanged views on statistics related to agriculture, forestry and land resources.
The regional workshop will continue until 25 September.
