According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 212,265 citizens of Uzbekistan travelled to Türkiye for tourism purposes in January–August 2026.
This figure increased by 30,500 people, or 16.8%, compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
Their trips by purpose were distributed as follows:
travel — 176,137 people;
visiting relatives — 31,158 people;
medical treatment — 2,446 people;
business — 1,233 people;
education — 1,291 people.
