From 18 to 21 January this year, under the Statistical Capacity Building Program (StatCaB), SESRIC is organizing an online training course on “tourism statistics” for the benefit of the General Authority for Statistics of Saudi Arabia.
Mrs. Malathi PONNUSAMY, Assistant Director at Economic Indicator Division and Mr. Azrulnizam ZUL, Assistant Director at the Department of Statistics (DoS) of Malaysia will conduct the course with the participation of officials of the General Authority for Statistics of Saudi Arabia.
The online training course will cover topics such as an introduction to tourism indicators; Sources of tourism data; Survey methodology and Tourism Satellite Accounts (TSA).
This course, which is conducted online through the Youtube platform on behalf of the Goskomstat, is attended by the head of the Department of Foreign Economic Activity and Trade Statistics Batir Irgashev, the Head of the Department of Statistical Observations of the Activities of Non-Commercial Organizations, Culture and Tourism Khairulla Khasanov and the Chief Specialist of the Current Accounts Department Khilola Yakubova.
