On January 27-29, 2021, a training course on “Fundamentals of Statistics” was organized at the Institute for Advanced Training and Statistical Research under the State Committee on Statistics for economists of state and economic management bodies.

On January 26, 2021, a videoconference meeting was held between specialists of the Department of monitoring and coordination of the open data portal of the State Committee on Statistics, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan and an expert of the World Bank on the formation of indicators in the database of world development indicators that are absent in the database of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the results of January-December 2020, the foreign trade turnover of the republic amounted to 36,299. 3 million US dollars and compared to 2019 decreased by 5,451.7 million US dollars, or 13.1%.

On July 24, 2019, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On conducting a Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2020-2021” was adopted.

In January - December 2020, the average monthly nominal accrued wages of employees of enterprises and organizations with the status of legal entities, excluding small businesses and agriculture (hereinafter referred to as average monthly wages) varied from one type of economic activity to another.

According to preliminary data, in January-December 2020, the total aggregate income of the population reached 405.1 trillion soums.

On January 25, 2021, a meeting of the Goskomstat leadership with a mission of experts from the International Monetary Fund within the framework of IMF technical assistance on integrating fiscal rules into the budget process was held in the videoconference mode.
