Demographic indicators of the republic as of October 1, 2022 in numbers:

In January-September 2022, in the structure of the total income of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a significant share is income from labor activity (61.2%), income from transfers (30.2%), as well as income from the production of services for own consumption and income from property (8.6%).

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710 “On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”, work was carried out in August of this year to compile a list of residential premises.

According to the results of January-August 2022, the largest volume of services for the provision of food and beverages was recorded in the city of Tashkent - 2,695.4 billion soums.

 A positive contribution to GDP growth was made by the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 0.9 p.p. (in January-September 2021 - 1.0 p.p.), industry - 1.4 p.p. (in January-September 2021 - 2.2 p.p.), construction - 0.4 p.p. (in January-September 2021 - 0.3 p.p.) and services - 2.8 p.p. (in January-September 2021 - 3.4 p.p.).

The volume of agricultural production in the Bukhara region in January-June 2022 amounted to 11,774.5 billion soums, or 103.4% of the corresponding period in 2021.

As of October 1, 2022, the number of operating trade enterprises in our republic amounted to 177,568, an increase of 2.6 times compared to the corresponding period of 2018.

In January-September 2022, Uzbekistan exported 18.3 thousand tons of apples to 7 countries for a total of 7.2 million US dollars.

In October 2022, goods and services in the consumer sector grew by an average of 1.2%.

In 2021, the volume of services produced (rendered) by small enterprises and microfirms amounted to 58,857.2 billion soums.

In January-September 2022 in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the proportion of the volume of construction work performed by large construction organizations for specialized construction work amounted to 24.0% and, compared with January-September 2021, decreased by 3.3%.

In January-September 2022, in the reproductive structure of investments in fixed assets in the Republic of Uzbekistan, 102.2 trillion was allocated for new construction UZS.

As of October 1, 2022, 3.9 million citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes.

According to the results of January-September 2022, the gross domestic product (GDP) of the Republic of Uzbekistan at current prices amounted to 627.5 trillion. UZS and, compared with January-September 2021, increased in real terms by 5.8%.

The volume of agricultural production in Andijan region in January-June 2022 amounted to 13312.0 billion soums, or 102.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

In September 2022, the automotive industry produced 448 Tracker vehicles.

It should be noted that the industrial sector is one of the sectors with the greatest potential among the sectors of the economy.
