As of October 1, 2022, in all categories of farms in the Kashkadarya region, the total number of cattle amounted to 1,687.7 thousand heads (102.8% compared to October 1, 2021), of which 554.5 thousand heads are cows (102.8%), sheep and goats - 4,850.5 thousand heads (102.0%), horses - 34.9 thousand heads (103.1%) and birds - 6,498.4 thousand heads (100.7%).
