In the republic, as of December 1, 2022, the total number of operating economic entities (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) is 588,823 units, of which the number of private enterprises is 92,839 units, which is 15.8%. The highest rates in terms of the number of private enterprises were recorded in the following regions:

By type of economic activity, private enterprises were distributed as follows:

in industry - 15,952
in the field of accommodation and catering - 8 017
