The team of the State Committee on Statistics and the Department of Statistics of the city of Tashkent organized a “hashar” for the purpose of improving and landscaping settlements in the Yorkin hayot makhalla of the Yangikhayat district of Tashkent.
In particular, by means of “hashar”, the Committee staff cleared the streets and ditches in this makhalla from debris and other waste, deep sections were filled with soil and sand and gravel mixture, and low and high sections were leveled.
In addition, trees were whitewashed on the territory of the makhalla at the initiative of the committee staff.
Representatives of the working group received information on the condition of the poor, those who lost their breadwinner, the elderly and the disabled in the mahallas of the Yangikhayat region, provided them with certain types of food, provided material and moral support.
The study of the “Mahallabay” system of work, which is of such practical importance, continues on a regular basis.
