On July 12 this year, a technical assistance mission of the Statistics Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) started online at the State Committee on Statistics. The mission is led by Mr. Brian Graf, Senior Economist, Real Sector Division, IMF Statistics Department.
This mission is a continuation of the previous mission carried out in October 2020 and will be conducted from 12 to 16 July this year. The main objectives of the mission are to discuss the current situation in the development of producer price indices for agriculture; discussion of the development of construction, as well as discussion of other issues related to the compilation of, which were raised by the staff of the State Committee on Statistics.
On the part of Goskomstat, employees of the central office of the State Committee on Statistics, headed by the head of the Price Statistics Department, Mukhtor Umarov, take part in the work of the mission.
In accordance with the mission's program of work, on the first day, an assessment of progress in implementing the recommendations made in October 2020 was discussed.
