In pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the widespread introduction of a healthy lifestyle and the further development of mass sports", various meetings with famous masters of sports of our country are organized for employees of state organizations and departments.
On September 6, 2021, the State Committee on Statistics held a meeting with the world champion in taekwondo, two-time Asian champion and winner of the Universiade, master of sports Dmitry Shokin.
Head of the Department for Monitoring and Coordination of the Open Data Portal of the State Statistics Committee Akrom Sultanov, Chairman of the Council of Heads of the Youth Union of the Committee Khurshid Iskandarov, sports promoter of the Committee Sarvar Inoyatov spoke at the meeting.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the issue of ensuring the formation of a strong immune system against diseases through systematic physical education and mass sports, as well as the formation of vital skills for a healthy lifestyle among employees of the Goskomstat system. Also, suggestions and recommendations were made on giving up bad habits, observing the principles of proper nutrition, systematic and effective organization of recovery and rehabilitation work, as well as physical activity.
At the same time, the committee emphasized that the appropriate infrastructure and other necessary conditions are being created for playing sports.
