In January-September 2021, 6,346.5 thousand tons of grain crops were produced, of which 5,691.8 thousand tons or 89.7% of the total production of grain crops were grain-ear crops.
The largest volume of grain ear production was noted in farms - 4,865.8 thousand tons, or 85.5% of the total their production.
A significant share of the total volume of grain crops belongs to the Kashkadarya region (12.1%). At the same time, high rates of grain ear production were noted in Fergana (11.1%), Surkhandarya (10.2%) and Samarkand (9.6%) regions.
