In January - September 2021, all categories of farms produced 1,888.3 thousand tons of meat (in live weight), 8,129.4 thousand tons of milk, 5,549.9 million eggs, 22.8 thousand tons of cocoon.
Analyzing the regions with the largest share of livestock production, it should be noted that in the republic of the total production
- meat 11.8% falls on the share of Kashkadarya (223.7 thousand tons);
- milk 12.4% - Samarkand (1,008.9 thousand tons);
- eggs 18.3% - Samarkand (1,014.3 million pieces);
- cocoons 13.0% - Samarkand (3.0 thousand tons) regions.
