According to the results of January-September 2021, the GRP of the Andijan region in current prices amounted to 30,382.7 billion soums and, compared to January-September 2020, increased in real terms by 3.1%. Positive growth rates were noted in the following main sectors: in the sector of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 103.3% (share in the GRP structure - 42.9%), construction - 111.0% (6.1%) and the service sector - 107.8% (31.2%). In the industry, there was a decrease in volume in comparable prices, which amounted to 95.0% compared to January-September 2020 (the share of this industry in the GRP structure is 19.8%). GRP per capita amounted to 9 457.1 thousand soums and increased by 1.1% compared to January-September 2020.
