In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710, from November 1 to 25, 2021, in the Khojaabad district of the Andijan region, the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, the city of Khiva, the Khorezm region and the Yashnabad district of the city of Tashkent, it is planned to conduct a pilot census.
Citizens wishing to take part in the pilot population census were selected on the basis of an interview and involved in temporary work on a contract basis.
In order to organize this work at a high-quality and high level, Goskomstat formed a working group of 50 people, consisting of heads of departments and employees.
On November 10 this year, at an event organized at the State Statistics Committee, Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Ziyayev Zoxidjan Muratovich presented the members of the working group with relevant proposals and recommendations on such issues as the use of tablets, filling out questionnaires, communicating with the population.
Also, the staff of the Office for the Organization and Conduct of Census Processes expressed their opinion on the correct organization and improvement of the efficiency of census activities.
Also, the members of the working group were given instructions on the use of housing lists based on schematic maps of makhallas, storage, delivery of forms and other issues.
