In pursuance of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 19, 2021 No. PP-5117 "On measures to raise activities to promote the study of foreign languages in the Republic of Uzbekistan" to a qualitatively new level, the State Statistics Committee approved the corresponding order.
In particular, since July 1, 2021, the State Committee on Statistics has established the practice of teaching system employees a foreign language at least once a week with the involvement of teachers of educational organizations on a contractual basis.
About 20 staff members of the central office of the committee are trained in English at the elementary, academic and business levels.
Classes are held in a combined form, that is, remotely and in classes, in Russian and Uzbek languages. Employees are trained in spoken English (Speaking), grammar, reading (Reading), listening (Listening) and other interactive areas.
