On November 2 this year, chaired by the Head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference was held to discuss measures to provide the population with housing and expand green areas.
Within the framework of measures for the implementation of the national project "Green Zone", tasks have been identified to plant 200 million seedlings of trees and shrubs per year throughout the country.
It was emphasized that it is thanks to this that it is planned to increase the area of green areas in cities from the current 8 to 30 percent, which should make a single contribution to this large-scale project.
In order to ensure the execution of these instructions, the State Committee on Statistics and territorial departments are consistently organizing practical work within the framework of the national project "Green Zone".
On December 4 of this year, the team of the Committee, headed by the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics, also took an active part in the process of "Green Zones" in specially designated areas in the Yangikhayat district of the capital.
